I have a development copy of each of our sites, and a live copy of each. I was able to import all of the shortcodes and fix errors and save them on the development site, but when I attempted to do this on the live site, when i click the save button I am getting a "Forbidden" notice.
The Live site has W3TC, MaxCDN, Cloudflare, Wordfence, and blogVault installed, but otherwise the sites are identical.
The problem is the plugin inserts the following into the htaccess file:
#AIOWPS_LOGIN_WHITELIST_START
<FilesMatch "^(wp-login\.php)">
Order Allow,Deny
Allow from mywebsite.com
Allow from xxx.xxx.xx.xx etc
</FilesMatch>
#AIOWPS_LOGIN_WHITELIST_ENDbut... if the IP address of other users isn't already whitelisted for some reason then they can't access wp-login and that's no good. They get an error message as follows:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /wp-login.php on this server. etc
The only way I can see to stop this happening is to edit the htaccess file and remove the above or in any not enable the feature in the first place which seems a little silly.

I have recently been informed that people are having issues purchasing subscriptions from my site.

so far no one has been able to help me with this 403 error, neither the theme developer nor my hosting provider. I hope someone here will finally be able to:
I am using a German custom theme, developed mainly for affiliate marketing purposes, which allows you to control/change settings affecting product-related custom posts that you can create using the theme.

So, the theme developer asked me to disable all plugins and empty the htaccess file which I both did but it didn't help.
The hosting provider just found some errors related to the plugin "Kirki" which the theme uses but those errors were found irrelevant by the theme developer.
The hosting provider also set the proper Wordpress permissions, so this shouldn't be causing the 403 either.
The only plugin I have installed that could block such requests is Wordfence, which I have disabled before and removed the corresponding lines from the htaccess file.
Enough from my side for now: Do you guys have any idea how to fix this annoying 403 error?

I have a problem: when I visit my website url, I get the 403 forbidden error. I am still able to get into my Dashboard and work with Wordpress.
I have already:
- uninstalled an installed wordpress several times
- deactivated plugins
- deleted .htaccess, and refreshing it via Wordpress Permalinks
- checked if all my permissions were set right (folders 755 and files 644)
None of this has helped so far.
I am new to having my selfhosted website, so I might have overlooked something.

I upload the zip file, choose lightbox, and put it into my page, but when I save and go check to see if it works, I get this message when I click on the launch button:

The lightbox comes up, but the file doesn't launch. My knowledge of website building is extremely limited, so for all I know this is a really easy fix, but I have been trying for hours and I can't figure out what's wrong.

Just bought your Video Grid Plus Lightbox for $18 dollars, uploaded the zip file to my plugins, activated it, added a grid then tried to manage videos by opening a Youtube video, pressed the add new button at the top of the screen, added the link, clicked to get the thumbnail, the rest of the text fields seemed to be automatically populated. When I went to save it, it came up with Page not found on permalinks set to post name. When I changed it to plain it then came up with Forbidden "You don't have permission to access /wp-admin/admin.php on this server."??
What can I do to make this work? Do you provide a refund if it does not work?
