You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

When I’m logged into my account I have no problem seeing the calendar. However, if I’m logged out, I can see the current month but if I try to click Nov or try to see in Agenda mode or anything, I get this error:

Something went wrong while fetching events.
The request status is: 403
The error thrown was: Forbidden

My calendar is at http://lovejoyorchestra.com/calendar-3/ The calendar will display but any movement to another view (month, year, agenda, etc.) produces the “Something went wrong … thrown was: Forbidden” on Chrome 46.0.2490.80m and Firefox 38.3.0; Internet Explorer 11 just hangs (never returns anything).

There are times when logged in that the calendar works fine, but other times (login expiration???) where the calendar starts giving the error.

A work around (sort of) on Chrome and Firefox is to press reload after receiving the error seemingly pulls up the requested page or view.

The problem seemed to start on 22-Oct-2015, no other changes to the website have been made.

Any ideas?

URL: http://vgtribune.com
WordPress Version: 4.3.1
DuracellTomi's Google Tag Manager for WordPress Plugin Version: 1.1.1

Hello! Let me first start off by saying that I LOVE this plugin. Up until recently (i.e.: today), I hadn't encountered any issues with integrating this GTM plugin into my website.

Today though, I noticed that this plugin generated '403 Forbidden' error in my packet sniffer tool (I use Charles) whenever I would use my site's internal search bar. When this GTM plugin is enabled within my WordPress Back-office, it generates this '403 Forbidden' error message within Charles, and then redirects back to the home page of my website (when it should be showing a search results page). Whenever I disable the GTM plugin however, the search results page will show up as expected, and a '200 OK' message will be returned within Charles.

You can replicate the issue by completing the following actions on my website:

1.) Go to the following URL: http://vgtribune.com
2.) In the top right hand section of the home page is a search bar. Click the magnifying glass, and a search bar should expand out.
3.) In the search bar, type the word "Halo" and hit Enter
4.) The webpage should reload, redirecting you to the home page.
5.) If you have Charles installed, you can see the '403 Forbidden' error message that is generated.

Have you ever ran into other reports from users about this happening when the GTM plugin in activated?

Polylang was working perfectly until I moved my site from a subdirectory to the root, carefully following the procedure in the codex.

Now, when I click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the Strings Translation tab, I get a 403 error, Forbidden!

Things I have tried:
- disabling all other plugins
- re-installing polylang
- checking file permissions
- making sure polylang_mo_# entries in the db looked normal

the site is unionetudiante.ca

Please help!

Hi All,

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!

I originally changed the URL of my website using the Setting and General tabs in Wordpress to manually change both the home and site url as I have changed the primary domain from the test site address to my main website address on my website hosting server. This broke my site and access to everything went down. My site and admin section had a forbidden error.

As recommended to fix this issue, I followed all of the advice for changing the URL in the http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL# page and updated the wp-config.php and functions.php file to include the exampled two lines of text outlayed at that link. I've looked in Myphpadmin and the new domain is spelt correctly. None of this worked.

Another forum post recommended deleting the .htaccess file from the site so I did that and cleared my cookies.

There is obviously a key step I am missing as after all of this I still get the error

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /wp-admin on this server.

Apache/2.2.24 (Red Hat) Server at kathleenmccreesh.com Port 80

I have had a change to the main site though as now, when I access the website, my web hosts have a holding page there and it says

kathleenmccreesh.com
This domain has been registered by Heart Internet if you are the owner of this domain please login

in the header. Any ideas what if anything I can do or should have done to resolve this issue??

Thanks All,
Kat

I upgraded to the latest version of Wordfence. Everything seemed to be going fine. I tried a bulk delete of my infected files marked as critical, and I believe those were deleted. Shortly thereafter, I received a 403 error across any page on my site, and I'm unable to log in to the admin dashboard.

Any help here, please?

I was updating plugins when my site went to a 403 error across both the version people see when they come to it, and the admin dashboard.

On http://mysite.com/wp-admin/plugins.php, I am seeing this error:

My domain is http://www.egenweb.dk and is hosted at one.com.
I've installed wordpress on this domain/server in a subdirectory called anrejser.
The wordpress site in question is http://anrejser.egenweb.dk.

Last night i tried to manually install a wordpress installation in the root of
egenweb.dk and a couple of one-click installs of wordpress.
After fiddling around a bit and also changed the permission of some files
(not the folder anrejser though) i decided to delete the one-clicks
installations via the inbuilt control panel at one.com.

I also deleted all the files in the root directory, except .htacces and fav.ico
and of course the folder anrejser.

Now, when visiting the site http://anrejser.egenweb.dk i got this message:

"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server."

What do i have to do now, to get my site back??
Which files must be present in the root directory?

- My folders have permission 0755
- .htaccess have permission 0644
- All other files have permission 0644

Hello!
I'm new on PHP and I'm trying to embed a youtube video on WordPress. I created an Advanced Custom Field where the user can simply put the name of the video and paste the url. With the code below it seems to work well but...

<?php $loop = new WP_Query( array( 'post_type' => 'course_video',
'orderby' => 'post_id', 'order' => 'ASC' ) ); ?>

<?php while( $loop->have_posts() ) : $loop->the_post(); ?>

<h2><?php the_title(); ?></h2>

<?php echo wp_oembed_get( get_field( 'video_url' ) ) ?>

<?php endwhile; wp_reset_query(); ?>

I'd like to see the video wider and then I tried this similar code:

<?php $loop = new WP_Query( array( 'post_type' => 'course_video',
'orderby' => 'post_id', 'order' => 'ASC' ) ); ?>

<?php while( $loop->have_posts() ) : $loop->the_post(); ?>

<h2><?php the_title(); ?></h2>

<iframe width="100%" height="415"
src="<?php echo wp_oembed_get( get_field( 'video_url' ) ) ?>"
frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

<?php endwhile; wp_reset_query(); ?>

And I get this error:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /b2w/

Apache/2.4.9 (Win64) PHP/5.5.12 Server at localhost Port 80

There's any way to resize the video using my first code? And what I'm doing wrong in the second code?

I'm stuck with this, I searched a lot and I didn't find the reason neither a different approach to get this working well.

Thanks in advance

I'm new to WordPress and I'm creating my first site using Beaver Builder (Pro Version).

I've set up several pages, all but one work and function as they should. However I if I view the site and choose the one page from the menu I get...

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /free-downloads/mixes/ on this server.

I tried deleting the page and then adding it again, thinking this would do the trick, but the page still won't work.

I've tried adding a new page and it works fine, so I've no idea why it chooses not to like this one particular page.

The plugins I have installed and activated are:
Beaver Builder Plugin (Pro Version)
MailChimp for WordPress
Maintenance Mode
Ninja Forms
Title Remover
Ultimate Social Media PLUS
W3 Total Cache
Wordfence Security
Yoast SEO

I have other plugins installed but not currently activated. All plugins and WordPress are up to date.

The un-functioning page has no content, nor is using any plugins, due to never having worked.

One last thing, as well as try and access the page to view it, I also went through the WP dashboard to see if I could just go straight to edit it, but get the same permission message.

All help greatly appreciated!

Hi there,

I recently removed wordfence and installed iThemes security in my website. Now when I publish a post it shows 403 Forbidden. After 5 to 7 minutes the message disappers and the page loads normally. What may be the problem?

WPS Hide Login has been working fine for a while, but now I get the following when redirecting after login, instead of redirecting to wp-admin.

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /login/ on this server.

I'm not sure whether this is happening since the update to WP 4.4 or since the last plugin update.

When deactivating the plugin all works fine.
The site is a multisite.

I'm not sure where to start looking to solve this. Perhaps a plugin conflict, but it worked fine before, I did update plugins, but didn't change any.
All suggestions are welcome. TY!

All other plugins perform as expected.

Any ideas what else could be causing this. I'm using the latest version available.

I really hope someone can help me. My website https://www.2ndchancepaws.com has been down and now it says that it's not found. The non-secure links show up as Error 403 Forbidden. I have tried everything from deleting the htaccess files, reinstalling WP, adding codes I found in the forum, changing the permissions on all files. Nothing. I believe this resulted from installing the SEO Ultimate Plugin a few days ago and it altered my permalinks, but I'm not positive. I deleted the plugin, but still have the problem. Someone please help!
